Traffic on the Surrey Research Park in Guildford has always been a problem, especially at peak times. The Research Park Managing Director and CEO Dr Malcolm Parry came to us for a Webcam solution for the tenants to view and help them make a decision on whether to take to the roads or not.

BroTel proposed a solution whereby external IP rated HD Bullet Webcams could be installed at traffic bottle-neck areas on the Research Park.

Designed by the BroTel Project team in the most cost effective and unobtrusive manner, the new Webcams were connected via PoE and configured to be streamed on the Surrey Research Park tenant Extranet.

The Client was extremely happy with the results and support from BroTel throughout the project and feedback from the tenants has been extremely positive!!

  • "A very professional and trustworthy team, an excellent job and were organised and efficient – Thanks."

Paul Berry – Twynham Training Christchurch Director

  • "BroTel have maintained our voice and data infrastructure for approximately 10 years and their continued high level of service is why we still use them today and I’m sure will do for many years to come."

Rick Flexman – IT Infrastructure Manager

  • Once it has been agreed, our DC’s have to be up and running in very short periods of time, the BroTel team were on board with us from the start and helped us with the design and implementation, their knowledge and experience was priceless.

    C. Dann – Senior Network Analyst

  • "At the very last minute the BroTel guys agreed to stay late to ensure our office move was completed on time, this work was over and above the original remit for BroTel but it ensured our staff could move into the newly refurbished area on time."

Gerry Ford – Estates and Facilities Manager
